Winter To Summer Beauty Product Change

Winter To Summer Beauty Product Change

As the air becomes more humid, we work the opposite direction for make up. So basically it’s like the weather, cold weather which is absolutely humid free and dry, we are getting into a humid kind of weather. So our make up alternatively from cream or moisturizing based are going more into a complete oil free kind of make up which is more aqua based, gel based or even tints. Look for products with SPF in it from foundations to powders to lip care.

Basically the entire make up is much lighter and non sticky, flatter on the ski n and of course gives a more natural or a matte finish depending upon the skin. Switch from cream based foundation to liquid or gel based foundations for summers.

Recommendation: Chanel ultra light skin perfection make up SPF15, Estee Lauder Stay in place make up. You can even go in for MAC studio fix which is a wet and dry foundation.

Same is the case for lips, more matte. Nothing which is more creamy or glossy, everything on the lips has to be very close to the lips from lip tints to lip stains or it can just be a protective lip primer with SPF with a slight color.

Similarly, with the cheek color, you can use a cheek tint or a liquid cheek color. Smudge it onto the cheek bone and you can use the same color straight on to the lips as well.

Recommendations: Lip n Cheek by Kryolan-Professional make up.

For eyes, go in for paint pots which are water resistant, kohl pencils which are water proof. Use eye shadows in crayon form which are easy to use and can be blended or smudged with the fingers as well.  Mascara can be water proof also. For eye brows, avoid anything which is more creamy or crayon based and stick to more tints for the brows because the crayon pencil may run if you sweat. Keep it lighter and natural.

Recommendations: Any brand from MAC/ Inglot / Maybelline / color bar etc have crayons or paint pots.

All the products from skin care to lips and cheeks, all should be oil free, non greasy and very light weighted.
